![]() Regardless if you’re going to read them in October or not, these romance books need to be on your TBR for 2022 and beyond. There’s not much I love more than a good slow burn romance. Overall, there are tons of romance books out there written by or featuring characters who are Latine or Hispanic. Plus the audiobook was just released at the end of June 2022 and it’s just delightful. Of course, this all happens after Eric is hired to help in Amara’s family’s bakery where she works and it all snowballs from there.įor being a book published almost a decade ago, Delicious Temptation is super short and steamy while also showing some great character development and lots of yummy treats. ![]() Originally published in 2015, this romance has it all: good girl-bad guy, brother’s best friend, and forced proximity. This is my first time, reading this author and it won’t be the last. Last but certainly not least is a recent read of mine and that’s Delicious Temptation by Sabrina Sol. Plus it’s a vacation read so what more could you want? Eventually, things start to unravel as Sara and her family are vacationing in Luis’ hometown but the journey is unputdownable. These two have the most adorable slow-burn romance that you’ll be dying for them to finally kiss. This is a romance between Sara, a white influencer, and Luis, a Cuban firefighter who gets roped into fake-dating her to save face. Next up is a book I have yet to discuss and that’s Island Affair by Priscilla Oliveras. By the end, you won’t be able to keep the smile off your face. This book is obviously steamy but it’s also incredibly fun and sweet. These two complement each other in the best way, though. This is a male-stripper romance between Fallon and Robyn who is a teacher and a hot mess. In this book, Kamilah is Puerto Rican while Liam is Irish.Īnother book I’ve mentioned previously but won’t stop recommending is Stripped by Zoey Castile. While you’ll want to shake Liam and Kamilah to just talk to each other, you’ll quickly become engrossed in the story and not want to put it down. The Proposal They Can’t Refuseby Natalie Caña is a marriage of convenience romance between two childhood friends turned enemies turned lovers. Next up is another author and book I’ve talked about before but I’d be remiss to not mention it again here. The author is Afro-Caribbean while both characters are Latine. One Week to Claim It All is a Harlequin publication and it follows a second-chance romance between Esmeralda and Rodrigo who reconnect as the two both work for her father’s company, Sambrano Studios.ĭespite One Week to Claim It All being short, this book is steamy and packed full of emotional moments, especially for Esmerelda who is dealing with the death of her father who was essentially non-existent in her life. If you’ve seen any of my other posts, you’ll know that I love this author. Moving onto a similar concept, I have to recommend One Week to Claim It All by Adriana Herrera. Either way, this book is fast-paced and so much fun if you’re a Disney lover. As for how this relates to Hispanic Heritage Month, Lauren Asher is a Latine author and if I recall correctly, Zahra is as well. Even so, it makes their romance all the more satisfying. While Rowan and Zahra are the embodiment of opposites-attract, the two eventually find some common ground after more than a few mishaps. This is a romance between Zahra who is a worker at Dreamland and Rowan, the grandson of the owner who is tasked with creating something great for the park to get his inheritance. This one was kindly sent to me by the publisher and I absolutely devoured it. First is an incredibly popular Booktok book and that’s The Fine Print by Lauren Asher. These romance books are must-reads for Hispanic Heritage Month 2022.ĭespite this list being a bit under the wire, these romance books need to be on your TBR for Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond. ![]() Plus since it’s basically the end of Hispanic Heritage Month, you can always add these to your end-of-year TBRs. Hopefully, you’re able to find something you enjoy from at least one of these authors even if it isn’t the book I suggested. Thankfully, you’ve come to the right place as I’m here to recommend some romance books either featuring Hispanic/Latine characters or books written by authors who have that identity. It’s especially a time to celebrate the culture and the impact Hispanic and Latine people have made in the world.įor me, that obviously translates to romance books and I’m sure most readers are looking for some solid recs. The observation actually started on September 15th and ends on October 15th. Hispanic Heritage Month is the ultimate reason to try and do it.įor those who don’t know, October encompasses part of Hispanic Heritage Month.
